Hospital linen supplier for the USA

International Linens is a hospital linen supplier for the USA and a hotel linen manufacturer. We weave, finish and stitch institutional linens in our own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan, and most of our output goes to the United States, where we supply healthcare and hospitality linen distributors, commercial laundries and private label brands on repeat container programs.

Quick answer: US buyers order from us by the pallet for trials and by the container for programs. We make to US bed sizes, label to US rules, quote FOB or CIF, and hold the C-TPAT and SEDEX audits that US importers ask for.

US rules a linen importer should know

These are the rules US buyers most often ask us to build into a program. They are a starting point, not legal advice, so confirm details with your compliance team or customs broker.

  • Fiber and origin labelling. The FTC Textile Act rules require fiber content, country of origin (Made in Pakistan) and the identity of the US company, usually an RN number. We sew labels to your artwork.
  • Flammability of apparel. Patient gowns, pajamas and scrubs are clothing textiles under the 16 CFR Part 1610 flammability standard. We arrange third-party tests when a program requires them.
  • Isolation gowns. Gowns sold for infection control are medical devices regulated by the FDA, and their barrier level is rated under ANSI/AAMI PB70. Tell us the classification your program needs before sampling.
  • Laundry durability. US healthcare linen is processed in industrial laundries at high temperatures with chlorine bleach. We specify weights, constructions and finishes for that wash process, and you can test samples in your own laundry before bulk.
  • Security and audits. We are C-TPAT assessed and SEDEX SMETA audited, and our fabrics are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

Shipping and trade terms

We ship 40-foot high-cube containers from Karachi to US East Coast, West Coast and Gulf ports, and we can consolidate several products in one container. Quotes are FOB Karachi or CIF your port, or on the term your buying team prefers. Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin.

US import duty on textiles from Pakistan follows the standard US tariff schedule, and rates have changed several times since 2025. Your customs broker can confirm the current rate for each HTS code before you place an order.
