Bariatric gowns are hospital gowns graded for larger patients, with a wider wrap, longer ties and full back coverage. International Linens cuts and stitches bariatric patient gowns in 3XL, 5XL and 10XL for hospital groups, bariatric programs and healthcare distributors, from fabric woven and finished in its own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

A one-size gown stretched over a larger patient leaves the back open and the ties short, which is undignified for the patient and awkward for staff. A true bariatric hospital gown is cut on its own pattern: chest measurements up to about 100 inches, extra length so it stays below the knee, and back panels that overlap. Ours use the same 55/45 cotton-polyester as our standard gowns so a facility launders one fabric.

Made in-house, quality checked before packing

Every piece is made in our own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan: fabric woven or knitted in-house, bleached and finished under an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certified process, then cut, stitched and inspected against an agreed AQL before packing. Sampling comes first; approved samples stay on file so repeat containers match. We have manufactured institutional textiles since 2004 and hold ISO 9001:2015, SEDEX SMETA and C-TPAT credentials, listed with certificate numbers on our certifications page.

Supplied by the carton, pallet or container to hospital groups, healthcare distributors, laundries and private label brands, mainly in the United States.
