Bariatric bed sheets are wider and longer flat and fitted sheets made for bariatric hospital beds and mattresses. International Linens weaves, finishes and stitches them in its own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan, and supplies them in bulk to hospitals, healthcare distributors and laundries.

A standard 36 inch hospital sheet will not stay on a 42, 48, 54 or 60 inch bariatric mattress: the corners pull, the pocket rides up and the sheet is off the bed before the shift is over. Our bariatric hospital bed sheets are cut to the mattress, with all-round elastic on fitted versions and extra length on flat sheets so they tuck properly on a deeper, wider bed.

Which size fits a bariatric hospital bed?

Measure the mattress width, length and depth. The most requested bariatric fitted sheets are 48 x 84, 54 x 80 x 12 and 60 x 80 x 15; the 42 x 80 size suits the narrower expandable frames. Flat sheets run from 66 x 104 to 72 x 115 so there is enough drop to tuck. All of these are regular cuts, and any other dimension is made to your bed specification.

Made in-house, quality checked before packing

Every piece is made in our own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan: fabric woven or knitted in-house, bleached and finished under an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certified process, then cut, stitched and inspected against an agreed AQL before packing. Sampling comes first; approved samples stay on file so repeat containers match. We have manufactured institutional textiles since 2004 and hold ISO 9001:2015, SEDEX SMETA and C-TPAT credentials, listed with certificate numbers on our certifications page.

Frequently asked questions

What size sheets fit a bariatric hospital bed?

It depends on the frame. Common bariatric mattresses are 42, 48, 54 or 60 inches wide and 80 to 84 inches long, so 48 x 84, 54 x 80 x 12 and 60 x 80 x 15 fitted sheets cover most beds. Send the mattress dimensions and we will cut to them.

Are bariatric fitted sheets available in a deep pocket?

Yes. Pocket depths of 12, 14 and 15 inches are regular options for bariatric and pressure-relief mattresses.

What fabric are bariatric hospital sheets made of?

Cotton/polyester in T-130 to T-180 for most programs, with T-200, T-250, CVC and 100% cotton available. All are finished for high-temperature institutional laundering.

Can we order bariatric sheets in colour?

Yes. Blue and green are regular colours and are often used to identify bariatric sizes on the laundry floor; custom dyed shades are also available.
