Hospital flat sheets built for the institutional laundry
Hospital flat sheets are the top and bottom flat sheets used on hospital, clinic and care-home beds. International Linens weaves, finishes and hems them in its own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan, and supplies them in bulk to hospitals, healthcare distributors and laundries, mainly in the United States.
Flat sheets for hospital beds are judged on three things: whether they survive the wash, whether they come off the ironer flat and whether the hem holds when tucked and pulled hundreds of times. Ours are woven in-house so the construction is right for the job, finished for whiteness and hygiene, and hemmed to the width you specify.
Hospital flat sheet sizes
Sizes are the finished dimensions after hemming. 66 x 104 and 66 x 108 are the usual top sheets for a 36 x 80 hospital bed, 72 x 115 gives more drop for tucking, and the 54 inch widths double as draw sheets. Wider 81 and 90 inch sheets serve bariatric and long-term care beds.
Flat sheet specifications
T-130 and T-150 cotton/polyester are the workhorse hospital sheets; T-180 and above give a smoother hand for premium patient linens. Hems are 1, 2 or 3 inches, with a wider top hem available for identification.

Construction details
- Selvedge or hemmed sides, with 1 to 3 inch hems double-stitched and bar-tacked at the corners.
- Crease-resistant finish on request, so sheets feed through the ironer without wrinkling.
- Colour coding: white for general wards; blue, green, yellow and navy for isolation, size or ownership coding.
- Matched sets: flat sheets, fitted sheets, draw sheets and pillowcases can be cut from the same fabric lot so a bed looks uniform.
Made in-house, quality checked before packing
Every piece is made in our own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan: fabric woven or knitted in-house, bleached and finished under an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certified process, then cut, stitched and inspected against an agreed AQL before packing. Sampling comes first; approved samples stay on file so repeat containers match. We have manufactured institutional textiles since 2004 and hold ISO 9001:2015, SEDEX SMETA and C-TPAT credentials, listed with certificate numbers on our certifications page.
