IV gowns and telemetry gowns with snap-open sleeves
IV gowns are hospital gowns whose sleeves open along the top with snaps, so staff can change the gown without disconnecting an intravenous line. Telemetry gowns add a chest pocket for a cardiac monitor transmitter. International Linens cuts and stitches both in bulk for hospital groups and healthcare distributors from fabric woven and finished in its own units in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
On a medical or surgical ward most patients have a line. A standard gown has to be threaded over the IV bag or the line disconnected at every change; an IV hospital gown opens the whole sleeve with three or four snaps, the gown comes off in seconds and the line is never touched. The telemetry pocket sits on the left chest, sized for common transmitters, with an opening for the leads.

Snaps that survive the laundry
The weak point of an IV gown is the snap. We use rust-proof snaps rated for tunnel washers and flatwork ironers, bar-tack the snap tape at both ends, and wash-test approved samples before bulk so the sleeve still closes after the hundredth cycle.
